      <description>In 1990, New York entrepreneur Abraham Abdallah bought his first Brooklyn supermarket at the age of 22. Since then, he has expanded from one store to 25, increased sales from $1 million to $575 million, and grown his business from 20 employees to more than 300. Today, Abraham Abdallah owns and operates supermarket and laundromat chains, among them Wash and Fold Super Laundry, where he oversees daily operations and manages more than 75 employees. 

As a way of giving back to his community, Mr. Abdallah offers free laundry services to individuals experiencing homelessness and those on public assistance. Additionally, each month he donates more than 1000 pounds of clothes to the Salvation Army and other charitable organizations. Abraham Abdallah earned a master of business administration from Harvard Business School, where in addition to maintaining a 3.9 GPA he participated in extracurricular activities such as the Investment Club, the Democrats Club, and the Harvard Club.</description>

         <description><![CDATA[An accomplished supermarket and laundromat entrepreneur, Abraham Abdallah owns and operates dozens of establishments from his headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. His career stretches back to the early 1990s, when he purchased his first business at the age of 22. With a $50,000 loan from Manufacturers Hanover Trust, he purchased a vacant supermarket and reopened it under a new name. After finding success with this venture, Abraham Abdallah began to open a string of grocery stores with names such as Key Food, Food Town, Met Fresh, and C-Town.

As he expanded operations within the supermarket sector, Abraham Abdallah began to establish laundromats as well. He currently owns and operates 15 laundromats under the names Clean Rite and Wash and Fold Super Laundry. In addition, he serves as managing director of 25 others.

Since 2010, Mr. Abdallah has concurrently served as manager of the Brooklyn-based nonprofit HOPE. Under his direction, HOPE buys gift cards at a discount and then distributes them to homeless people of all ages at local housing shelters.]]></description>
