If we take the time to create meaningful experiences off their interests, it shows the teacher's engagement to the student's social and emotional well-being. Technologies that allow for collaboration and creativity are appealing to these students. Not everything has to be on technology for these students to be engaged, especially if it is the wrong technology tool for that activity. Students want to know they are solving a problem, making a difference, and doing meaningful work in which it creates a happy and healthy learner.
