         <description><![CDATA[<div>I agree with everything that the police did in this situation except holding the kid on a unnecessarily huge bond. While Zachary himself did not do the initial shooting, it is understandable as to why the police would view him as more of a potential threat than other people as he is the shooter's brother. He broke a law by trespassing and while it wasn't necessary for the police to act so harshly, it was necessary to at least take some action. I also see nothing wrong with having to undergo a mental health assessment before being allowed to have guns. It's always better to be safe than sorry when innocent lives could be on the line. I also find Zachary's comment mysterious and alarming on why he was trespassing on the property of the high school. He said he wanted to "reflect on the school shooting and soak it in." To me, that is strange and only adds to the reasons why he should be monitored closely.<br><br>Do you think a mental health examination should be required for people wanting to have a permit to buy guns? Also, if enacted, do you think this would prevent future occurrences of the mishandling of firearms?</div>]]></description>
