I will be looking into inequity and ways that districts could provide stable, reliable learning spaces for students. "Pop-up study spaces", or a "learning cafe". I will explore the possibility of converting unused spaces into socially distanced, clean, safe reusable spaces. The big picture is the fact that pivoting to remote learning will always be part of our education system. We as educators and members of the district need to ensure our students have adequate learning spaces. Life outside of school can be hectic, but when in school, it should be a safe space that promotes students' confidence and allows them to work towards successful futures. There is a vast number of students who are not properly supported by the education system in America, but I want programs for students who can not afford private lessons or cannot afford to be suspended or expelled.
