This article caught me off guard, but I'm also not surprised that they would move an iron plant causing lung problems away from a white neighborhood and into a neighborhood in the southeast side.

I am surprised to see other teens care about the air quality. It's nice to know that maybe this generation can fix what the older generation has destroyed.

It's crazy how the only way to get what they wanted was to go on a hunger strike. They had to basically hurt their health to stop the facility from polluting the air. Everyone deserves clean air, without it we can die earlier.

I think this article is important for everyone to know about because there are so many people who don't know about the health risks that can come depending on where they live. I am not surprised though because it is understandable because cheaper houses are in places nearer factories, so low income people are more affected by the poor air quality.

I'm very surprised that people have to go a hunger strike to stop polluting the air I think it's crazy to affect your health to get something done.

I am honestly not surprised from how people treat the SouthEast Side because people had been adjusted to not showing interest in poc neighborhoods, which caused so much air pollution.

Its not really surprising because the government only cares about the money, they don't care for the health of the communities. It also makes me wonder why its not okay for the factories to be in the white neighborhoods but okay for them to be in the black and Latino communities.
