Also, take notes and more notes, and even more notes! Find a way to organize the resources and notes we are provided in class. That may be a personal file or creating a google site, or google folders. You will be so thankful to yourself by the end of teachers college if you save all the resources given to you throughout class. Something that would be really great is to create a shared google folder with your fellow teacher candidates, where you can all input your notes and resources to reference in the future. Finally, when you do your assignments, it can be SO easy to forget that the assignments are built to help prepare you. Keep this mindset so that your learning feels purposeful and allows you to gain knowledge AND confidence, so you leave the course feeling prepared.


Teachers college is meant to help us become teachers, so don't treat it as just another class. Remember these courses are meant to help us become competent professionals!
