The local park has a basketball court and a small playground. There is a significant amount of traffic noise due to its proximity to the freeway. There is also graffiti on the other basketball goal (not in picture) and some of the equipment is a bit rusty and not very well maintained

This represents a deficit as residents either have to take long detours or risk a dangerous crossing, which is especially hazardous for children, the elderly, and those with disabilities. Also, those living in the apartment blocks here would experience a lot of noise due to trains passing by.

This whole experience has highlighted the need for thoughtful urban planning and improvements to create healthier, more connected, and livable neighborhoods.
