He then tried to buy his friend away from bullies but the friend gets mad. Later on the boys father gets sued for everything he owns and becomes broke the boy then goes back to his friend and asks for forgiveness. The moral of the story is that you can buy a lot of things with money but not friendship. In thought it was a fun camp the boy decided to go to the camp only to figure out it is the middle of nowhere and he has to dig holes until his sentence is over.  He makes friends and figures out that the real reason they are digging holes is so that they can find treasure for the warden. The boy and his friend manage to find it first and the warden and two others get arrested for their crimes. And Stanley goes home with the treasure. He ends up making lots of friends and is not bullied again. my favourite part is where they are at camp and the ones who were the bullies ended up helping him from other bullies. He lived in a loving family with his mom and dad until his dad got into an accident and wasn't able to race again from that the mother left there family for some small man from that the dad then got a new job but didn't tell his son but the son soon figured out what his dad's job was being a robber for the guy the mom left them for. The son figures out and then helps the dad get the guys in trouble from that they both lived together happily and the guy the dad was working for went to jail. They don't have much money but the girl manages to stay happy because of her hamster friend who can do tons of tricks until the step mum killed him. The girl then finds a rat and becomes its friend until this man wanted the rat as he was going to make a burger out of it. The girl refuses and runs away until the dad comes to the rescue. And saves her but in the act accidentally kills the rat burger maker man. Later they then figure out that the step mum was cheating on him for the rat burger maker so they leave the step mum and the two of them live happily ever after.
