This is great resource for more independent assignments. This could be used for example on a snow day when online learning in an asynchronous format is required. It allows the teacher to put in a video and stop the video with pop up questions that can check understanding.

Brainpop is a resource that can be used to supplment learning. They have a bunch of fun videos that get kids interested in topics that could be used as hooks. They also have videos with pause points much like ed puzzle. Brainpop also includes quizzes, a create mode, and reading with levels that allow children to read the same article just at different reading levels. This could be used as a more fun alternative to the teacher just standing and lecturing. This is also a good asynchronous resource to use as well.

ABCya is an educational game website for grades k through 6+. They have a variety of different games that cover ELA, certain skills, math etc. They also have a premium version that allows for more access. This is a great resource for teachers to use as a reward. While it is still very educational it gamifies learning which can make it more fun for students.

Desmos is a graphing calculator website. It is very visual it allows students to see what they are graphing line by line. They can also change the colors and shade certain areas. This resources is a great way to combine math and art. For students learning coordinates they can create an art piece through math and see it develop line by line.

Prodigy is website that has games that go along with math curriculum. It goes state by state so it aligns with the state's standards. They also have english as well. This can be a great way for a teacher to make math and english fun for students. This can be used as a reward for students as well.
