We would approach this topic to introduce kids to different origins but also wouldn’t because students might ask questions you’re not allowed to address, which could cause issues with parents. No, because it can mean their “color” is not being heard or seen like not being acknowledged.

Yes, because we believe everyone has an unconscious bias towards someone. We both know we are guilty of sometimes expecting a certain response or act from a certain group or race based on past experiences.

The implication could be teachers are seen as authority and students are just there to listen.
