The visit to Cadaver Room was quite interesting.First time looking at dead bodies was really quite amazing. They had 3 men laid out black as burnt turkey in the first container that the instructor opened. It was already half unstrung and it smelt like a vinegary fume. The room really had a bad smell.Firstly ,I thought that I would not have the braveness to enter the disection room for the cadaver visit but my friends humiliated me how would I be a doctor if I have not exposed myself to situition like this to look at dead bodies .Later,I was really thinking about how will I survive in the mortuary room at hospitals in future .It was really a great insult from my friends. So, then I motivate myself to see them in order to be a good doctor in the future. But unfortunately,I just didn't see them but also touched them and more likely I did also played with the parts of bodies they arranged there in the dry section.Really an awesome experience ever.Through the visit,I knew the cadaver was also called as corpse in medical and legal usage or when intended for dissection is a decreased body.Firstly,we were brought to visit the dry section. Here all the body parts were divided into simpler parts such as just legs, hands, heart and more.I have a deep sight at all of them because Mr .Eric, our lecturer was explaining to us about them and also asking various questions. Then,we were brought to the wet section. There firstly the conductor explained about embalming process .When a corpse is buried, the body decompose into bacteria .In many countries, corpses buried in coffins are embalmed .An embalmer may prepare the corpse for a lifelike apprearance .Embalming fluid is then pumped into the body via the artery. This rehydrates the tissue and severely reduces the pace of decomposition.Embalming is used to preserve the corpse temporarily but may lastfor few years.Later, the instructor was opening all the containers to show us the dead bodies. Some was just with half bodies, eyes open, bundles of hands, legs and more submerged in the formalic.
