A local indifference could be when people are trying to rally support for the homeless population in Barrie and most people dont caew or choose not to get involved.

This shows injustice because people who are already struggliung are being left without help or support. Many face cold weather, hunger, and poor living conditions, yuet the community looks the other way. when no one takes action, the situation doesnt improve. This is why its important for people to speak up, support local shelters, and work toward real solutions.

A personal indifference that i have had would be when someone dropped something and i saw it but chose not to help them pick it up. It shows a lack of concern or care for their situation. I was ignoring their need for help, even though its a small, simple thing you could do. This shows injustice because people who need help, even in simple ways, are being ignored. It reflects a bigger problem: when society becomes disconnected and people stop caring about each others struggles big or small, those in need are left behind. Action is needed because even small acts of kindness can challenge this pattern.Helping someone pick up their things may seem minor , but it shows care and sets an example for others to do the same. Change starts with small actions.

Climate change is causing a lot of problems for example wildfires, floods, and extreme heat around the world, many governemnts, companies, and indiviuals still ignore it or refuse to take serious action. They continue pollunting, cutting down forests, and using fossil fuels even though its hurting the planet and future generations. This example of indifference shows injustice because the people most affected by climate change are often the ones who caused it the least. Poorer countries suffer more, while richer countries pollute more and do less to help. Ignoring this is global indifference. Action is needed because ignoring the issue allows more damage, suffering and inequality. Global cooperation, awareness, and personal responsibility are necessary to protect the earth and those most affected.

An exmaple of indifference is when someone would see a person being cyber bullied on social media but they still decide to scroll past without doing anything, reporting it, or offering support. This shows injustice because people can see that this person is being builled but others still choose to stay silent and do nothing to help. It allows harmful behavoir to continue and makes the victim feel alone. Action is needed becausse speaking up,reporting the bullying, or offering support can protect others and stop the harm. Staying silent only helps the bully.

My fifth example of indifference is when people choose not to participate in elections because they feel like their voice doesn't matter or they just don't care about it. This shows injustice because when people choose not to vote, bad leaders who shouldn't be in power keep having it, and the needs of certain groups, especially the poor or marginalized, are ignored. Action is needed because voting is a way to speak up for change, protect rights, and make sure all voices are heard. If too many stay silent, injustice continues.

My last indifference is when someone sees another person clearly sick, hurt, or in need of help (like fainting or having trouble breathing) but doesn't stop to help or call for assistance. It shows injustice because a person's health or life could be at risk, and ignoring it denies them the basic care or attention they deserve. Action is needed because even small help like calling 911 or alerting someone can save a life and show compassion. Ignoring it puts others in danger.
