"Do you think you can win at our school magazine's storytelling competition?"
The students are in the 5th class of my primary school.The task will be to make an e-book with a story/fairytale of the past retold in the present,or make their own story.
Of course it is a task in English.
I'm sure it will spark their enthusiasm as it involves competing to each other.
They will practice  :
  • simple past tense usage
  • Linking words
  • parts of a story(beginning-middle-ending,plot,setting,characters......)
  • collaborate with other members of their group
  • use web2 tools
