Sekolah Cikal's 5-star competencies are designed to foster holistic development. They typically include academic excellence, character building, creativity and innovation, critical thinking, and communication skills. These competencies has 5 elements: Knowledge, Skills, Attitude, Understanding and Action. We also eager to do Self Regulated Actions and as well as transferring actions.

I'm really delighted to have gained some valuable insights during the training sessions.

Wonder

Wondering about being a lifelong learner as a teacher is a great mindset. Embrace curiosity, actively seek new knowledge, engage in continuous professional development, and encourage a growth mindset in yourself and your students.

That competency has that complex process and we make sure that all programs that we teach should give those five elements to our students

When will the supervisor really supervise us as a feedback to our teaching and learning improvements so that we also get the appreciation and adjustment form our salary increase

How to apply and observing the new 55 competencies

I feel a bit "messed" since we got these important values in such a very hectic week.

I wonder the better way to comprehend these values so that it can be easier to chew.

I think what Cikal means by competence is really good for delivering a good education

I feel overwhelmed by how much information that is expected to digest by teachers in such a very short time

• I wonder how to practically and technically deliver these ideas

• I wonder what should be the priority for different school levels to develop students' 5 stars

• I wonder which 5C's can support and help students better prepare their IGCSE and IB Exams in high school

• I wonder how teachers could assess if their 5C's are effective to facilitate students develop their 5 Stars Competences

I feel we need specific time to discuss more deeper.

I wonder how we could apply and see the result of 5cs.

5Cs is a good basis for education... IF can be implemented correctly.

We technically hasn't internalize 5Cs into students characters, shows by how often bullying happen these days.

I wonder

how to implement and teach and internalize 5Cs to PIC students? What kind of adjustment is needed to make sure they achieve 5Cs like regular students.

I feel like this is something we have got from foundation training and maybe if you have something you want to emphasize then make sure the one who gives the lesson have done it before.

I wonder if the school has a way to know which one is not how to implement 5Cs, and the school should actually give feedback to each other on how to implement it.

Feel: I feel less focused on the material because the session starts in the afternoon and we still need more discussion sessions.

Wonder: I wonder how to apply cita, cara, cakupan into daily activities in a realistic yet effective manner.

5 Stars Competencies and 5Cs are perfect for students and other components in Cikal community -- theoretically.

Overwhelmed by all these concepts, though. Not about understanding the concepts, but more about implementing these in reality.

Also feel tired and sleepy.

I wonder

How to implement these, especially in DP, which is academically rigorous?

I also wonder what kind of further support teacher will receive since we are expected to be self-reliant and resilient and sometimes we really are relying on ourselves...

But competency is more than just able. But.... wondering how we implement all the competencies or achieve the summarized competencies in a nice way

I think cikal 5 stars and 5cs can be the guidelines on how we want to teach the competencies to the students

I wonder how we will incorporate everything in our learning. I wonder how important or impactful it will be

I feel that it's difficult for me to know all in one go

I think it is important for teachers and parents to have the same understanding about the definition of the term competency in order to ensure what we are aiming

I feel like we don't have enough time to prepare for the proper teaching and learning activity, to ensure the competencies are implemented and assessed through out any lesson

I wonder what are we gonna learn on the next session

5 stars and 5Cs are good theoretically, so I think a practical guide is needed so that the value can be implemented properly.

It is important for all ctm to understand and be regularly reminded of Cikal's core values, such as the five stars and 5Cs. The PD-Day is also an essential learning for us, I think a human-centered design where the staff and the school's activity is fully considered is needed.

I feel rushed, with all the expectations but little time to facilitate learning in the cikal way while the are a lot of responsibility for school activities.

I feel it's a shame that the session was held in the very hectic week with sudden notice.

I wonder how the 5 stars and 5Cs complement IB DP and IGCSE? Is there any guide for this?

I also wonder what kind of resources and support the teacher will get to plan and execute the expected learning.

5C's is a big concept leading to big ideas on how we shape learning. It is an important value that a CTM should hold onto. It is actually exemplary for everyone (not only CTM)

until right now, this idea is just an idea as there is no guidance to do the proper execution. I feel overwhelmed with the expectations I set myself on how we actually implement this idea to the learning process

I wonder

how can we shape the 5C's and blend it into the curriculum in Cikal like IBDP, Cambridge, as well as the National Curriculum. Knowledge will forever develop and expand all the time, so I wonder this idea is timeless for like 20 years ahead?

Effective sessions should invigorate, not drain, and provide actionable insights, not redundant theory.

I feel

Scheduling the session late in the afternoon was less than ideal. Many are typically fatigued. The content of the 5C's for the 1st session is not new and merely revisits theories already covered during foundation training without offering new and practical examples or structured guidance for implementation. But, it was okay to remind me of the school goals.

I wonder

Will the school consider scheduling sessions at more suitable times, and focusing on delivering practical, relevant content that truly truly truly supports our professional growth? Yes of course, I am just wondering... 

However I feel overwhelmed with all the information that’s packed in 1 session, maybe because it’s in the afternoon?

I wonder if i can get better understanding about competence, because I found yesterday discussion about it was interesting.

I Feel happy, because i reliazed that my sorrounding by life long learners people

I Wonder what next I can do to be better at teaching and learning especially with applied 5stars concept
