Many kids enjoyed playing the hoop game. This is a less modern version of bow and arrow. The children would throw a spear through a hoop stringed with yarn used for targets.

This was a very common outdoors game for the Blackfeet children. The game consisted of throwing rocks and beanbags at the sticks to make them fall over (jump). They would then keep track of their points.

In the tribe, the men were in charge of the physical labor jobs. They would be responsible for hunting for food such as buffalo, deer, elk, and mountain sheep. They would also be in charge of protecting the camp from predetors and threats to the tribe. The women played a much different role, they were in charge of the homes, cooking, cleaning and watching over children.
