The first time I used Padlet was when I was taking my ECE units, and we used it a lot during the courses to make collaboration easy. I have used padlet in my work with supporting educators and encouraging collaboration. I have also used it in the classroom as a way for students to collaborate and share their work. On a team that I was part of, our regional director encouraged us to keep each other up to date by utilizing padlet and it was a great way for us to share what was happenings at different schools that we each supported. Lots of options with this free and user friendly platform. In other news I am thoroughly enjoying summer and aside from being on the computer for my two classes, I am avoiding any and all screen time!

Padlet was a resource I used frequently last year with my students. It provided an alternative to having students respond in the chat box on Zoom and I appreciated having a way to capture student responses so that I could go back and look at them more closely after class. I am gearing up to teach summer school, it begins on Monday! I will be teaching to students in person and I am really excited, it almost feels like going home after a long trip. Yesterday was my first day "off" without any planning meetings for next year. I started the morning off at the beach with my daughter and ended the day in the mountains with my boyfriend while he fished and went target shooting (archery). We found this turtle on the path at the lake...don't worry we put him back by the water. Summer break is here and I hope to get through the laundry list of things that I want to accomplish prior to the start of the next school year. 
I have enjoyed the current course, EDU-586, which has revived my interest to try out and use various tech apps.
