For example, Listening. Listening could play the biggest role in showing how sympathetic you are. When you listen you show true appreciation towards the person allowing them to know they have you when they experience pain, they have you to trust, you to love. Empathy is the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes. Perhaps someone just passed in a friend of mine's family. Put yourself in their shoes and just realize the pain they must be going through and what would make you feel better if that happened to you and whatever makes you feel better do that to them. And last but not least just show that you care. Loving care is all that a person needs to feel better, not a store bought gift, just the gift of your presence and sympathy.

Some people made fun of me because they say like I’m really weak and I am only 45 pounds. I have seen other people get made fun of and I have helped them out if I’m near and tell them to stop. We could help others by being respectful and don’t make fun of their weight, height, shoe size, how strong they are, and how they look.

  • Something I learned during quarantine or “shelter in place” was learning how to type without looking down. I never thought it would be important but it makes a huge difference when doing homework or writing long essays.
