This resource is a video that discusses the principles of UDL and strategies that could be used when the population includes culturally diverse and ELL students. This resource is relevant to my understanding of UDL because my school has recently seen an increase in ELL students, particularly from Columbia. Teachers are feeling unequipped with strategies and tools to help these students and our district does not have a sufficient ELL program. By implementing some of the strategies included in this video, our ELL students could be better supported and everyone else in the school would also benefit.
