Cheng Peng - According to the ABC News, lots of young people have faced discrimination within Australia, even if themselves do not feel the treatments or conversation they are using or facing are discriminating. Indeed, from my experiences, racial-based discrimination seems much more pervasive in Australia than in Canada. Why do minorities in Australia face more discrimination? Are there something wrong with the Australian integration policies or political propaganda? If so, what are they? How can Australian government resolve this problem? Or the Australian government is clearly aware of this situation but does not want to have genuine integration?

Is the existence of the cash-in-hand economy a benefit or detriment to those involved? Consider that those working in such an economy are paid below what their work is worth in a manner this is exploitative and arguably illegal. On the other hand, low-wage work done in an informal manner holds a very low barrier to entry, for migrants and native-born Australians, and government intervention may not improve wages but eliminate the informal market altogether. - Matthew Bennett
