I also found that it is also the wealthiest country, how can this be?
How could get so deep into our national debt and yet be the richest country in the world? If we are so wealthy, why don't we pay of the debt??? Have a clean slate? After hearing America was in debt with over $17 trillion dollars. After looking some more, I saw that no other country was in this much of debt. I was amazed to find that U.S.A was the largest in all but births and population. The U.S.A. is deeply in debt, yet has a lot of money. Surprisingly, the United States of America had 31.9% of all wealth, and was contributing 29.9% of all debt at the same time.
