1. Units. Is your units in the correct unit? Do you have units?

2. Mathematical statement. When rounding, check for the wavy equal sign. Also check that your working is correct.

3. Where you wrote your equations. In PSLE, you cannot write in the margins. Check whether everything you wrote is both were it can be seen and neat and tidy. The teachers marking your paper will be much happier. Also refrain from writing and/or drawing anything that is not needed on your answer booklet.

4. Transfer error. Check the question and make sure you have written the correct numbers.

5. Shading. Check that you have shaded in the answer, that you have shaded the correct bubble and check that the bubble you shaded is in the correct question.

• Remember to write units at the correct places

• Check for transference errors

• Have legible handwriting

• Check for carelessness

• Re-read the question during checking to prevent accidentally losing marks for an undone question

• If I am unsure about how to do the specific question, I will circle it and move on

• Ensure there are no errors in shading of OAS questions

1.After writing down my answer,I should first check that I have written the appropriate units

I would also annotate in the diagram (if any).I would also have to be more careful when transferring my numbers, reducing transfer error.

I have to remember to put in units ( if needed).

-check if numbers are keyed in to the calculator correctly
