I turned 16 nearly two weeks ago. I like books and series oriented fantasy and sci-fi. Maybe mockumentary too. I finished parks and rec in summer vacation. It was great! Oh, my favourite school-subject is changing every other year. (I usually pick the one with lesser school-work but I'm in 11th grade. There's no easy subject anymore.) In this trying times i think my favourite one is biology! We are going to learn about human physiology. Yeah yeah it's going to be a fun ride:) When my free time comes along (if i have one) I would probably study. It's kinda sad. Maybe I can read books that I wanted to read. I like atmosphere of libraries. My favourite person is myself! We have a parakeet that i call Pirinç! (It means 'rice' in Turkish) My mother wasn't happy with the name that i choose. And i have some hobbys that i like doing in my free times,these are; drawing,painting,reading( especially in outside) and it sounds weird at the first time but i love spending my time with studying or working on some projects that i am responsible about. Hello to everyone! In this article, I will tell you about myself. My name is Zehra Nisa, my surname is Uysal. I am 15 years old. I was born in Balıkesir. I have been living in Izmir/Turkey for about 8 years. I have a family of 5: my mother, my father, me and my two sisters. The eldest of my siblings is named Elif Sare, she is 9 years old and going to 3rd grade. My youngest sister's name is Zeynep Duru, she is 5 years old and goes to kindergarten. Although they sometimes fight because of their age, they love each other very much. I love them so much. The three of us usually get on well and have fun together. I also get on very well with my mom and dad. I have a budgie, his name is Boncuk. It's been about 2 months since we took him to our house. It's still small and really cute. He can say a few words we teach and is quite friendly. I love playing games with him. We actually had fish living in the aquarium a few months ago. But unfortunately they all died in turn and we were all really sad.
Now I want to talk about what I like and dislike. I started violin lessons about 2 months ago. I can play a song or two. I love playing the violin. I also like reading books, watching TV series, swimming, solving puzzles, listening to music, drawing, playing with my bird and cycling with my siblings. These are my hobbies. Let me talk about the things I don't like to do. I don't like watching horror movies, spending time in very noisy places and watching movies with unhappy endings. I am very afraid of being locked in a place. Also, I don't like frogs and big bugs very much.
I like to visit places that interest me, have natural beauties and interesting stories. For example, we went to Pamukkale Travertines last summer. It was really great to watch the sun go down there. It was one of my favorite places I've been to. I also love amusement parks. Different and fast-moving toys sometimes seem intimidating, but I find them fun. Other than these places, I'm not really a person who likes to travel very much. I like to spend more time at home. I think many useful or fun activities can be done at home as well.
Let me tell you a little about my friends. Although I have a lot of friends that I know and love, there are a few people I can call my closest friends. The name of my friend, whom I can talk to the most and whom I can call the closest, is Gülenay. We talk all the time and get along very well. Apart from Gülenay, I have a few other friends with whom I get along very well. We talk to them all the time and we are on good terms with all of them.
Let me talk about my favorite things now. My favorite food wrap, my favorite fruit is strawberry, my favorite drink is coffee, my favorite color is light blue, my favorite extracurricular activities are listening to music, watching TV series and reading books, my favorite TV series and book character is Sherlock Holmes. I can say that I am a huge Sherlock Holmes fan.
Finally, I would like to talk about why I participated in this project. My goals in participating in this project were to improve my English, to meet and communicate with new people from different countries and cultures, and to make new friends. I'm really crazy about animations,cartoons,comics...There's nothing i like more than them.I have a lotta things that i don't like but whenever ''what do you dislike?'' is asked to me , i have ''panty-hose'' in my mind firstly.

Hello everyone, i'm Ela. I'm 15 years old and in tenth grade. As you can see from the title, my school is İzmir Kız Lisesi. I'm living in İzmir. I can say, my favorite subject is English but to be honest i don't really like seeing English as a subject. Yeah, we are all taking classes for years but i also went some courses and it's completely different to talk with someone from another country and it has its own joy. Not to keep it long, let's move to the other question. Actually, i don't have so much free-time cause i'm in so many projects but they're like my free-time activities. I also like to play guitar, digital drawing, reasing books etc. I'm not a person who always travels so i only go somewhere with my family for short holidays. That's probably why I don't have a favorite place. I had a pet bird named Şımarık for 7 years but sadly he passed away last April. It was three days after his birthday. It stills hurt a little to think about him but at least i know that he's in a better place now. I hope that this project will raise the awareness and we'll get a chance to help about it. I enjoy drawing, reading, listening to music and playing video games. My favorite artists are Lemon Demon, Stray Kids and Ateez. The game I am interested in right now is Genshin Impact. I play it every day when I get back from school. I've been playing it for almost a year now and I am still not bored of it.

I don't really have a specific subject I like currently but for now I can say that art and maths are my favorites.

In my free time I usually play games or watch streams on twitch. My favorite streamer is Ranboo! He is a minecraft streamer that is on a very popular server called the Dream Smp. I watch almost all of the streamer on the server but I watch him the most out of all of them.

I don't have a favorite place but if I had to choose I think it would be my room where I can be as creative and as free as I can be. And its one of the places that I feel comfortable and safe. I also like art studios because I can express myself using art and I can be messy while I'm drawing.

My favorite people are, of course, my parents. But I also have a lot of other people I like outside of my family. Which are (as I have said before) Ranboo, Bang Chan (from skz) and Bwaap who is another streamer that plays Genshin Impact.

No, I do not have a pet but I wish I had a turtle. I used to have one when I was younger but not anymore unfortunately.

Hi, I'm Aslı and I'm 15 years old. I was born and raised in İzmir Turkey. I still am living in İzmir.

My favorite thing to do or, as I may call my comfort zone is dancing. I've been dancing since I even know myself and I'm proud of how much my skill has improved. I also like music. I think the tune from different instruments coming together and making such great melodies is a miracle.

My go-to class is maths. I feel like numbers are a different language that only people who like and understand maths can use and that's one of the million reasons why I like math.

In my free time, I usually prefer to rest but if I'm feeling up then I'd practice on some new choreographies or watch my favorite shows while I snack on every piece of food I find.

I don't actually have a favorite place. I feel like ıf I'm surrounded by people I like then it really doesn't matter where I am. My favorite person on the other hand is my mom. We share everything and she helps me whenever I mess up.

I am obsessed with cats and if my mom could let me I would own one immediately. But sadly my mom is not a fan as much as I am and she doesn't let us get a pet.

What I expect from this project is to help our world. As we all know global warming is out of control and even though people seem to care and do something about it, they don't. I want to make a real change and save our world from a tragic end.

Hey, I'm Merve and I'm studying at İzmir Kız Highschool as a 10th-grade student. I was born and raised in Karşıyaka, right now I live in Bayraklı. This year I have a good relationship with numerical subjects and also enjoying the language lessons.

I'm in love with music. I’ve been playing piano for almost 6 years and have started playing drums for two years ago. I’m more into rock but I don’t really categorize my taste because there are tons of great pieces of music, tracks from different genres. I would listen to all of them and I'm trying to reach them.

If I need to describe what I do in my free time it would be like; there are a bunch of friends who are all having fun and also be there for each other no matter what. To be honest I -thankfully- have so many brothers and sisters from different mothers. And also my favourite place would be anywhere with them in it.

This project will be my first e-Twinning project and I wanted to be a member of it because firstly our instructor presented the project, what are we going to do, what we are going to be responsible for etc. and I realised that, it would be an interesting way to improve my language. My name is Iamina, I am 16 years old and I live in Romania. I am currently a student at "Dumitru Tautan" theoretical high-school. I consider mentioning only what I like, mentioning hobbies in this category ( I think its more important to stay positive and, besides , I like more things that I dislike ). I love reading, writing, painting and drawing. Of course, if you haven't guessed yet, I also play the flute and the guitar. as I like to say( I think its funny), it comes with the pack.
Now lets jump straight into another chapter called...(here comes suspense, you MUST feel it) school. Yes, the beloved place( some students hate it, I am not in that category though ), in which we are learning useful information which will increase our horizon of knowledge. Here I think I should mention my favorite subjects, which are chemistry and English ( yep, for no particular reason I don't like arts as a subject).
What else should I mention here...oh...yeah, I almost forgot, pets. Since I know myself, I had only 2 pets: a fish called Violet(it died ,cause of death: unknown) and a turtle named Uachi ( 1. yep, Romanian name; 2. my mom said it was stinking so we soled it). Since then...I don't have pets, but , there is a but, I have some cacti which I consider "pets". One of them is named Gobi JR. and the other one is named Basta .( I am making sure they live like in desert, meaning that I water them...let's just say when I remember).
The most important part, and and after this , I'll end this, "What do I expect from this project?"...Well, I expect meeting people who are willing to change this world, to show others how damaged and helpless, almost helpless, is the blue planet which we call home. The the reckless humanity, which let in the past the concept of harmony and human's old times priorities. The rapacious human kind is destroying, piece by piece, species, plants, and so on. I believe, in this broken society, where we only fight for our own needs, there are people which still fight for the earth , these people being united here, in this project.
In conclusion, I feel honored meeting all of you, because I believe every single student who is here to change this world and also, to practice and even improve their English skills, meeting new people from all over the Europe.
