His family always thought he wouldn't make it because he was born very little and was shriveled like an old man. The dad  even build him a coffin thinking Doodle could die any time. The older brother would always go to Old Women Swamp and started taking his little brother Doodle. The older brother was sometimes mean he would point out the coffin telling Doodle that was where he was going to be at. Doodle was already 5 years old and  couldn't walk therefore his older brother was embarrassed and decided to teach him everyday at the Old Woman Swamp, he stood him up a couple of times but Doodle would fall over and over. After a while he finally he stood by himself for a couple of seconds going home Doodle started walking and impressed mom and dad because doctor would always said Doodle wouldn't be able to walk.Then they herd a sound outside and they all went to check what it was. An Ibis bird had fallen from a tree. Later on the older brother took him to learn how to swim at the Old Women Swamp.
