Some families live in multi- generational households because it is less costly to have the bills be split by different people. There are also more people to share the work load. They also have more people to take care of the older people and the younger ones. People also like to have their family so close to them, and they like to be able to see them more often.

"Why do people even want to live in those conditions?" People live in those conditions because they think of the benefits that have been previously stated. "Is it more pleasurable to live with all of those people?" When asked if it is better to live with all of the people in the house they often say there are ups and downs, but they have to find a solution so they can move on and try to agree. They also say that they try to bond and try to settle on ideas they can agree on. "Are they crazy, or are they just weird?" People often say this because they do not know everything about multi-generational households. They do not know that the people are thinking about what they have to do to live their lives.
