Each year we have a school Talent Competition. Each class has auditions to choose an act for the big competition. 
I chose to sing and sign Fight Song in Makaton. The song is important to me, and I chose to sign because I've enjoyed the project and also because my sister signed a song a few years ago.
My class chose me and I was really excited. Then I won the whole competition.

On the Friday we all said and signed the story - our teachers were very impressed! We enjoyed it so much that we wanted to share it with the younger children. We couldn't all do it unfortunately but 20 of us went to their assembly this week and told them the story in Spanish and Makaton. First we taught them the animal names and then we told the story. Lots of them tried to join in. It was great fun. Unfortunately, everyone was so involved in watching and signing that they forgot to take photos! Whoops!
