So my reflection for week 1 is amazing, I met my new teachers and classmates, who will be my soon to be friends, and getting myself more familiar with this new schedule as we have only 2 subjects for a day. And for my summary for what I learned is this:
Scientific Investigations is the scientific method to research, the process includes 8 parts, which are- observe, simply observe your surroundings, Question, in your observations is there something you want to investigate more to deeply understand it, Research, now with your problem research by any means possible to collect data from different sources, Hypothesis, with your present data, formulate in your mind the possible outcome and conclusion, Experiment, now gather data, Test Hypothesis, now with the data from the experiment check if you hypothesis was right or wrong, if not construct another one, Draw Conclusions, organize your data and finally, Report, the outcome of your studies to the teacher and maybe the government in the future.

Well my reflection for week 2 is basically like the first, although the work is gradually increasing its nothing too hard, furthermore I made new friends and got myself familiar with the schedule and the teachers. And as for what I learned in science is this:
Matter is anything that has space and mass, matter has 4 states, solid, liquid, gas and plasma. Different matters have different properties and those properties are divided into 2 physical, which is mass, volume and its physical constitution, and chemical, which has something to do with its chemical constitution and can only be evident during a chemical reaction, moreover, physical properties are divided into 2 intensive, which are not dependent on the object's mass and volume like luster, and extensive, which unlike intensive are dependent on the object's mass and volume because it is the mass and volume itself.
In classifying matter, it is first split into pure substance and mixture, and pure substance can classified again into 2 which are element and compound. Element is the simplest form of matter and can divide into 3 this time which are metal, which are shiny and are good conductors of heat and electricity, non-metal, which are dull and bad conductors or simply the opposite of metals, and metalloid which possess some properties of both kinds or simply the middle between the 2.

Okay so for my reflection is a lot, first I got to be the president, made new friends, completely familiarized myself with the schedule and Canvas and finished lot of assignments, and speaking of work its getting plenty but then again just harder but not impossible. And for what I learned is:
Compounds, in the last lesson I learned that matter can be a pure substance or a mixture and if it is a pure substance it can be an element or ...... COMPOUNDS our lesson. Compounds are the product substance of the chemically combination of 2 or more elements, or reactants, a compound can either be an acid, which has a ph level of 6 or lower, turns litmus paper, a cloth like indicator to tell if a compound is acid or base, to red and is corrosive, base, which turns litmus paper to blue and has a ph of 8 or higher, or salt, which has a ph level of 7.

Yeeey, first assignments and activities only presidents can do, new friends once again and just more work and just finished my 4 of my subjects performance task. And without further ado what I learnt in science:
Mixture is a classification of matter that is the combination of 2 or more substance combining but only physically and not chemically, it has 2 main types, a mixture is homogeneous when the solute, the one with the lesser amount mixes with the solvent, which is the one with a greater amount, and becomes one and the solute fully dissolves with the solvent to the point where you can see them as one substance or more known as a alloy or solution; solubility is the quality of a solid substance to dissolve in the liquid solvent and miscibility is the compatibility on a liquid to mix with another liquid and a mixture is heterogenous if you can still identify the solute from the solvent. There are two types of heterogenous, suspension where you can easily identify the solute and the solvent, and a colloid, which is easily confused as a homogeneous as you can not identify the components but only at first and has 5 types which are emulsion, aerosol, gel, foam and sol.

Umm for this week it's already getting hard as the assignments are getting longer and increasing also all subjects are now giving performance task and like the other weeks new friend and for what I learned in science this week:
Separating mixtures
Separating techniques for homogenous mixtures:
-Evaporation a technique used when a solid solute mixes with a liquid solvent the process is done by boiling the mixture as the liquid will evaporate leaving the solid solute behind.
-Distillation a technique used when a liquid solute mixes with a liquid solvent the process is done by knowing the components boiling point and heat them at the temperature where only one of them will evaporate and go into the condenser.

Separating techniques for heterogenous mixtures:
-Magnetism used when one of the components are magnetic the process id done by simply getting the magnet near the mixture.
-Filtration used when one of the components is liquid and one is solid that are little pieces and is spread through out the mixture the process is done by filtering the mixture using filtration paper.
-Decantation used when one of the components is liquid and the other is solid and is staying at the bottom the process is simply done by pouring the liquid out carefully
-Separatory Funnel used for mixtures with immiscible liquids the process is done in a separatory funnel.
-Sieving used when the mixture is made up of small solids and large solids the process ids done on a sieve and just wiggle it so the smaller particles fall down.
- Winnowing just like sieving but used when a component is lighter and makes use of the wind.
- Centrifugation spins the mixtures at high speeds which forces the components to separate and for one to stay at the bottom.
- Chromatography uses a type of paper to separate different components of a mixture that is a colloid.

Well I think it finally stopped, the increasing of the activities, although it is many it is still doable and just like the other weeks new friends and for what I learned in science this week:
There are 3 factors that has a relation with solubility
size the bigger the solute the more time is needed for dissolving.
stir the more number of spins the lesser the time
temperature the hotter the temperature is the faster
There are two types of solution concentration and saturation
Concentration has 2 types dilute, which is a solution which a very small amount of solute and concentrated which on the other hand has a big amount of solute.
saturation has three types unsaturated in which the solvent is more plenty than the solute, saturated in which the solvent and solute is equal and supersaturated in which there is more solute than the solvent.

Performance task are now piling up since the completion week and exam week are close

For what I learned in Science this week:

We learned about Charges and Charging Processes
There are 3 types of Charging Processes

Charging by friction

the transfer of electrons from one uncharged object to. another by rubbing the two objects together. Some electrons can move to the. other object when rubbing the transfer of electrons from one object to another by.

Charging by conduction

Charging by conduction is charging by contact where charge is transferred to the object. Charging by induction first involves producing a polarization charge in the object and then connecting a wire to ground to allow some of the charge to leave the object, leaving the object charged.

Charging by induction

a method used to charge an object without actually touching the object to any other charged object.
