We  know that her blood was not circulating when she fell and hit her head. There was no alcohol in her blood and there were low levels of acetylsalicylic acid, aspirin.
Blood contained Hydroxyurea to treat sickle cell. Hematocrit levels were low at 33.33% (Normal levels for females: 35-46%). Nails were blue/gray from lack of oxygen.
Had a pace maker. She had a stent and high cholesterol and blood pressure. Also, she had signs of atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis is the narrowing of arteries due to build up of plaque in the walls of the artery. At the age of 14 months, she was diagnosed with sickle cell disease after seeing her doctor with a splenic sequestration. She was severely anemic and had a high count of white blood cells. She has ventricular tachycardia and high blood pressure. In addition, she had high levels of LDL cholesterol in her blood. She has Metabolic Syndrome, having three of the five symptoms.

Ten days before death, she went to the hospital for a sickle cell crisis. She  had torsades de pointes and prolonged qt syndrome.  She took antibiotics that could have exasperated her prolonged qt and caused ventricular fibrillation. She had sever ischemia of the whole heart. This lead to sudden cardiac arrest(SCA). In a toxicology report, Anna's blood was found to contain Macrolides and Floroquinolones.
