To be brutally honest, I was in a bad way before discovering Alban. I was in a dark place and struggling to find reasons to continue. Finding him brought me things to start looking forward to, introduced me to many new friends and a warm community to belong to, and much needed joy and laughter in my life. I was given inspiration to work on art again, something I had almost given up on, and motivation to want to follow my dreams and do the things that would make me happy, rather than being stuck in a rut and feeling alone.

I found myself being inspired to draw again, having something and someone I was interested in enough to want to make art of. I've always wanted to learn Japanese but could never really motivate myself to do it (I still struggle but I'm more motivated now watching his progress). Watching him learn new skills for the sake of being able to connect with people better has given me the bravery to reach out more, expanding my circle and meeting new people again to make friends. Since Alban began studying Japanese two years ago, I've been inspired to take up Japanese as a minor degree in college, and hearing him say he wants to take the JLPT made me think of studying to take the JLPT as well. I found Alban about a month and a half after he debuted (When I was two-weeks into a v-tuber obsession) and he just kinda clicked for me. I found him adorable and loved watching him interact with friends and try to the scare the chat. He reminds me a bit of my old cat too, since I'm a massive cat person on top of all this.

I can't specify what specifically led to him becoming my oshi, but I do know that I started becoming an almost daily watcher after he first noticed my chats, although I'm a constant lurker now if my schedule lines up with his streaming times.

Out of all the amazing things Auban has managed to achieve, the moment that made me really happy and fulfilled was when he did his first full JP zatsu stream! I wanted to learn japanese as a third language (ESL) for some time, but ended up giving up due to lack of time, resources and motivation. Seeing Alban so eager to learn a whole new language in quite a short period of time, and also how far he has come with it, really motivated me to to back to learning it. I'm at a really slow pace due to still lacking time, but I now know how to read hiragana and a bit of katakana and kanji! I know it will take lots of time for me to be able to actually speak it, but I can keep it up! Thank you Alban!!!

Well I remember seeing Luxiem's debut song in my recommended one day, out of curiosity I clicked. Sweet vocals, noticed there was a new group debuting almost an HOUR later - I thought huh, why not, I'll stick around and see this.

Then it happened. One chuckle out of Alban's mouth and I thought "oh no" he's a sweet dork.

After that, I started lurking in his streams, never talking but always having fun regardless. He was so caring and funny that I was hooked. I was hooked on his silly personality and joyful tones and just how funny he was. He was never afraid to be just himself, I felt comfortable there. Then I started chatting.

That's when things got silly, he would laugh at my comments or just bounce back and fourth with chat on silly things happening in games or just in chat. He was just a chill person, I eventually looked forward to seeing him collab, do membership streams, anything, he was just a delight to be around.

I've been living with depression for a long time due to past experiences, but, I've learnt that it's okay to feel sad without a reason sometimes. I've gotten more confident in my own singing, a possible way to become a VTuber myself, I improved my health by setting boundaries when I'm not comfortable. I've learnt that my own life is more important that I used to feel. I'm still struggling with depression but seeing Alban's silly clips and streams make me feel so much better. He's just a digital anti-depressant for me haha and I can't thank him enough for how much he's done.

I went from someone who was very unhealthy, overweight and severely depressed - to someone completely different.

I lost weight, I can get out of bed without struggles of crying, my dogs are getting walked without me feeling like 🤬 being outside. I even got my first job interview soon, praying it goes well.

Can't say how much Alban has helped me both mentally and physically. He means a lot to me and I would love to continue to support him wherever he goes. 🧡

Seeing his chaotic energy in the first couple noctyx collabs made me check out his channel, I remember watching his cooking simulator stream afterwards and really enjoying his sense of humour! I was really drawn in by his way of bringing people together, whether it be the way he interacts with chat and makes everyone feel welcome or to the collabs he puts together (especially the first big zomboid collab with people from all different branches of niji, it was so fun following multiple streams and checking out livers I wasnt familiar with!) Hard to say!! I think I was always really drawn to staying at his streams whenever I stopped by, just because of the type of person he is. It's as if I have no diversion of attention or wish to leave. || My girlfriend always seemed excited about his sense of humor when he was in clips I'd send her (I'm a big vtuber fan, but her only vtuber content comes from me bein' all cheery about it sharing it with her). Like sunshine in a capsule; like a wonderfully refreshing citrus punch on a sunny day! Alban is already so unique in his own right; but I've always thought Tenchou's voice stands out so well, and were one of the first things that has me gravitating to him. He sounds just like your boy next door; peppy, boyish... and yet has a hidden wide range that it surprises me each time!

Sometimes, it can be as tender and light on its feet; like morning sunlight, especially whenever he talks so sincerely about the people he loves, like when he talks about Noctyx and Nijisanji or he thanks takaradachis for everything we do. Sometimes, in contrast, it bursts like summer soda - especially when he laughs so heartily at a stupid joke that he himself most likely made, just so full of vigor!

Every time Alban branches out to tru something new or something he's afraid of, I get so proud.

It's easy to say that everyone in Nijisanji is absolutely talented and entertaining because they are! Having an oshi in this community is so difficult, but upon meeting Alban, he clawed his way to my oshi title like the sneaky phantom thief cat he is, LOL.

Aside from being my absolute favorite archetype of a character already, there was one specific moment that changed it all - it's something I've mentioned in my fanletter before where I've come across one hilarious stream clip that jived with my humor so much, even my friend told me 'this sounds like something you would say,' after watching it and I could not help myself but smile and agree. From that point on, I started to tune in more and more, and each time, I realize how much I relate to Alban, not just in the weird (/just kidding! kinda!) humor, but in shared values. I have been through so many fandoms and communities, but I've never felt so easily accepted somewhere exactly like Alban and Takaradachi! If Alban is the sun, then every single one of takaradachi makes up the stars in beautiful constellations. I've eased up to them so easily, have made good friends and countless memories and it never stops to fill me with fulfilling warmth. All of them are so so kind and friendly and are full of just as much determination and compassion as Tenchou does, and they're also absolutely talented! I've mentioned this quote already before, but every time I just need to get motivated, Alban has always been there to fill that space up in my head! Seeing someone as hardworking and determined as Tenchou even if there are ups and downs along the way; seeing firsthand how he keeps getting up even after falling down perhaps... 1, 2, 27 (heh) times; to hear him say ridiculous things like, "That was hard, but that was so fun", or "I'll try it," that leaves me in constant awe - it always, always hypes me up to no avail.

I've been more motivated to learn JP, and I also have been more motivated to train in Project Sekai (LOL) and now I'm in hell trying to get better at Master 28-29 and Expert 30 songs, thanks Alban, I guess (/jjjj). I've been extremely busy in the past year since I'm in my graduating year from college, and thesis has given me so much stress, exhaustion, and even disappointment, but I stop and think - if Alban can get though it, so can I! I would hop on stream as I work or watch a VOD, and my worries would melt away, just like that. (I passed with more than just flying colors, so I am truly, truly grateful!)
