There were a range of activities on the camp, from the gruelling salute to the calm meditation session, but at the core they all taught us how to improve ourselves, even if we had to struggle or freeze outside to do it. Over 8 weeks each and every student in year 8 experienced hiking, sailing and abseiling, along with learning key skills like how to set up tents and how to cook in a Trangia. Overall it was a great week and everybody who went had a great time.

This year might have been a challenge, but we are prepared for year 9 and the adventures that it will bring, including the China trip and the extra electives.
