For some being at home eliminated distractions, reduced anxiety, and allowed them to read aloud every question or passage as many times as needed. For some they were part of a small F2F cohort where they were not overshadowed thus allowing them to be full participants and even leaders. For others we saw the truth of their academic struggles without distraction of a full classroom. We tried a variety of supports that a full classroom might otherwise make it challenging to beta test.
