         <description><![CDATA[<p>When I think about the word "justice", I think about changing something unfair in a way that benefits society.</p><p>"Criminal" makes me think of someone who is a bad person as well as violent and dangerous.</p><p>The purpose of the justice system in the US is to both punish and rehabilitate people. Unfortunately, I don't think rehabilitation efforts have been that successful.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Danny - The U.S justice system definitely does not function in this way, as many people are wrongfully convicted just to make sure someone was. I don't know if it would be better to work this way, though, as it would allow many dangerous criminals to walk freely just because the prosecution couldn't find 100% evidence against them.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I think its safe to say that the Justice system isnt perfect, and that a ton of people are wrongfully convicted, but in the case that 100 guilty people should be freed so one innocent person is fine, in that case, I feel like there isn't a good answer if it it should be that way.
