         <description><![CDATA[<div>Information agencies have five types: library, record center, archive, museum, and art gallery. Each information agencies have a distinct role.&nbsp;<br><br>The first information agency is a library, library is a storage facility for literary, musical, artistic, or reference resources such as books, journals, recordings, or films that are not for sale. The library has five types: National Libraries, Academic Libraries, School Libraries, Public Libraries, and Special Libraries. Each type of library has its users.<br><br>Next, the other type of information agency is the record center. A record center is a structure created or modified specifically for the low-cost storage and administration of semi-current records preparatory to their destruction or transfer to an Archives repository. It can be captured in a variety of ways, including printed and non-printed materials.<br><br>Next is an archive. An archive is a collection of historical records stored in any medium or at the current location where they are kept. Archives are collections of original source documents gathered throughout the course of a person or organization's lifetime and retained to demonstrate to the person's or organization's function.<br><br>Besides that, the next agency is a museum. A museum is a building with an artifact, historical stuff, artistic and or cultural interest stored and exhibited. Museums have many types which are an art museum, historical museum, historical house museum, archaeology, anthropology &amp; ethnographic museums, and many more.&nbsp;<br><br>Lastly, is an art gallery. An art gallery is a building that displays the art, typically, the museum's own collection is used. It could be public or private property, and it could be open to the public or restricted. The most typically displayed art artworks are paintings. However, drawings, pastels, watercolors, collages, prints, artists' books, photography, and installation art, on the other hand, are regularly displayed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>BACKGROUND :</mark><br><br>The kunshistoriches museum in Vienna also often referred to as the "Museum of Fine Arts" is an art museum in Vienna. The term Kunshistoriches Museum applies to both the institution and the main building. It was founded by Emperor Joseph to house the imperial collection and preserves a huge artistic heritage. It is the largest art museum in the country and one of the most important worldwide. In addition, to its many famous painting, the museum contains important collections of sculpture, oriental art, and decorative arts. <br><br>This museum's acquisitions are in the main a result of the rich accumulation of treasures by successive Habsburg rulers from the 16th century onward. The painting collection is specially noted for its Renaissance and Baroque pictures of the Italian, German, Flemish, and Spanish schools.<br><br><mark>OBJECTIVES : </mark><br><br>1. To collect, preserve, interpret, and display objects of artistic, cultural, or scientific significance for the education of the public. <br><br>2. To carry out works in collecting, conserving, and preserving the nation's history, culture, and nature.<br><br>3. To disseminate knowledge through activities like exhibitions, educational programs, and museum development.<br><br><mark>VISSION :</mark> <br><br>To be a Museum Institution which is professional and with global standards.<br><br><mark>MISSION : </mark><br><br>1. To increase the level of professionalism in the field of museology.<br><br>2. To expand the working relationship network with other museum institutions globally.<br><br>3. To improve in the fields of research, collection management, conservation, exhibition, and education.<br><br><mark>FUNCTION : </mark><br><br>1. Acquisition of Materials<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; Every new object that a museum adds to its collection is called an acquisition. Museums acquire objects in several ways, of which field collection is one of the most useful. The scientists and technicians go outside to gather specimens and data on particular subjects which are within the scope of the museum.<br><br>2. Recording of Materials<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Each acquisition is listed carefully by specialist staff. As soon as objects are received, the data, the source, the method of acquisition, and other available information are entered in the record register.<br><br>3. Research<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; One important use of museum is to extract as much knowledge as possible from the specimens. Many museums publish scholarly journals, series of papers, and books to make available the results of research on their collection.<br><br>4. Education<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;A number of universities conduct some courses in certain subjects at museums in order to take advantage of the collection.          <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>BACKGROUND<br><br></mark>The new Sainte-Geneviève library opened its doors on 4 February 1851. It was the first French public building to have been built specifically as a library and was listed in 1975 and then classified in 1992 as a Historical Monument. It can be seen as a manifesto in favour of modernity in architecture. The collection of the library was saved from destruction during the French Revolution. Between 1838 and 1851, architect Henri Labrouste constructed a new library reading room with an innovative iron frame supporting the roof. The library contain over 2 million records and serves as the main inter-university library for the University of Paris' several branches. It is also open to the public.<br><br>The outstanding treasures amassed since the Middle Ages are then temporarily housed in a section of the Hôtel de Montaigu, until the completion of a new structure planned by architect Henri Labrouste, the construction of which began in 1851 and ended in 1851. Next, classified as a Historic Monument, the library now retains 2 million books and documents covering all disciplines. It is an inter-university state institution open to all publics. Other than that, free and open to the public visits are available Monday through Saturday from 14h to 18h. They allow visitors to see the fresco-decorated entrance foyer, the honor staircase, the cabinet of rarities, and the Reserve reading room<br><br><mark>OBJECTIVE </mark><br><br>The objective of the library is to develop and maintain a comprehensive library collection in the field of education in line with the mission of the library.          <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>DEPARTMENTS / UNITS</mark><br><br>Here are four important departments in the library, among them are :<br><br>- ADMINISTRATION AND CORPORATE RELATIONS DIVISION<br><br>The Management Division is responsible for the administration of the library in general. This division is headed by the Deputy Chief Librarian and consists of 2 units, namely the Administration Unit, and the Corporate Communication Unit.<br><br>- INFORMATION SERVICES DIVISION<br><br>The services division mainly focuses on the provision of services and facilities such as referral services, circulation services and others. It is also responsible for promoting services and facilities to consumers. This division is headed by the Deputy Chief Librarian and consists of 4 units namely Reference Unit, Circulation Unit, Research Unit and Multimedia Unit.<br><br>- RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION<br><br>The Technical Division is responsible for developing the library collection. This division is headed by a Senior Librarian and consists of 3 units, namely the Collection Development Unit, Serial Publication Unit, and the Law Collection Unit.<br><br>- TECHNOLOGY AND REPOSITORY DIVISION<br><br>The Management Division is responsible for the administration of the library in general. This division is headed by a senior librarian. It consists of 4 units that each unit performs a different function.<br><br>Therefore, every user must contact them if there is a problem in the library. The community must be aware of the department in the library in order to facilitate the affairs of all parties.<br><mark><br>COLLECTIONS </mark><br><br>The collection of the library was saved from destruction during the French Revolution. This collection is available on level 1. It consists of encyclopedias,dictionaries, bibliographies, statistics, indexes, and so on. The materials of this collection can only be referenced in the library.<br><br>For The Multimedia Collection is available on level 2. A wide selection of materials is offered in a variety of formats, such as CD-ROMs, DVDs, cassettes, kits, diskettes, and so on. It can be borrowed according to the user's eligibility through the Multimedia Counter, which is also located on Level 2.<br><br>Last but not least, Personal Collection.<br>Personal Collection is a collection obtained from famous figures and has the historical value of a person as well as information related to the figure. Personal Collections consist of individual works or personal collections of figures that cover various fields of things such as literature, history, writing, architecture, religion, culture and others.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>BACKGROUND OF NATIONAL ARCHIVE OF MEXICO</mark><br><br>The general Archive of the Nation of Mexico was founded in 1823 by statesman and historian Lucas Alaman, who set out to combine the manuscripts of the Secretariat of the Viceroyalty's Archive and the courts that had been abolished by Mexico's independence into one institution. Since then, it was an administration unit that served as the Federal Executive's central entity and main consultant in managing the Federal Public Administration's administrative historical archives until 1980. The General Archive of the Nation of Mexico becomes a decentralized governing body after the publication of the Federal Records Act in 2021.<br><br><mark>OBJECTIVES</mark><br><br>1) Advocate<br> Encourage the development of archives in all countries, in collaboration with other organisation such as international organizations, governments, and non-governments organizations. <br><br>2) Professionalise<br> Promote, organize, and coordinate best practices, standard development, and other records and archives management efforts. <br><br>3) Promote<br>Make the content of archives more generally known and encourage wider access to them to make them easier to rad and use. <br><br>4) Take action <br>Carry out any activities that are pertinent to the goal. <br><br>5) Connect<br>Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationship between archives from all countries, as well as between all institution, professional bodies, and other organizations, both public and private, located anywhere in the world, that are concerned with administration or preservation of records and archives, or with the professional training of archivist, particularly through information exchange.<br><br><mark>Vision</mark><br><br>1) The vision is to collaborate with other Federal agencies, the private sector, and the general public to provide information including records, data, and context when, where, and how it is neeeded and to transform the American's relationship with their government. <br><br>2) To be a leader in the archival and information professions ensuring that archives thrive in the digital age.<br><br><mark>MISSION</mark><br><br>The mission is to&nbsp; make Federals Government records in our custody and control available to the public.          <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>INFORMATION PROFESSIONALS </mark><br><br>-Administration<br>Larger libraries may have a head librarian supervising other librarians, while smaller branches may have only one librarian and part -time staff. In both cases, the librarian handles administrative tasks such as hiring staff and creating work schedules. Librarians are also responsible for developing and maintaining budgets, and working with vendors to secure equipment for library use, such as computers and audio visual hardware.<br><br>-Program Development<br>The librarian is the entertainment planner for activities at the local library. They work with community resources to offer classes, such as computer training, cooking and personal finance. Librarians are also working to design programs that allow children to be interested in reading. These activities include reading hours, puppet shows and summer reading lists. Librarians work relentlessly to develop social calendars that keep people coming back to the library.<br><br><mark>INFORMATION SERVICES</mark> <br><br>Libraries need to provide services that can meet the information needs of the organization in line with the field of specialization of the organization. Services provided must be fast and accurate and able to anticipate the needs of users. The latest information and communication technology must be used to the maximum in improving and diversifying services.<br><br>Among of them are newspaper.<br>Recent newspapers will be processed by making newspaper clippings and made into a book. This reference material is provided for teaching and learning purposes and also for research. The collection is for reference only.<br><br>Next, electronic media.<br>Electronic Media Collection Reference Services are provided in various fields such as education, environment, information technology, sports and others in various formats such as audio cassettes, video cassettes, audio discs, digital video discs and kits published locally and abroad.<br><br>Last but not least, serial publications.<br>Serial Publication Service is a service created to be a reference center of excellence for serial publications, especially in Malaysia, to meet the information needs of consumers.<br>The information sources of the serials collection consist of printed, non -printed, electronic and online materials.<br><br><mark>TARGET USERS <br><br></mark>* Students&nbsp;<br>* Adults<br>* Kids</div>]]></description>
