For my assignment, I attempt to follow her idea and create another new world where people can learn new knowledge just by connecting with one USB that contains the designated knowledge. I believe this is the dream of every student: If we can learn new knowledge by connecting with different USB, people will no more suffer from learning; Chemistry, physics, mathematics, or even Einstein’s relative theory will be no more an issue. 

 

I do expect if I have the magic port to connect with the USB. However, if the world does exist, the value for learning or being as one expert will become null, because everyone can become one expert in short. This is a terrified situation that I cannot imagine.

 

I will not say this is just one illusion. With the development of the technology (for example, virtual reality), who knows one day we may learn something through plugging a chip into our head.

In this creative piece, I aim to reflect and analyze Holden’s attitude toward death and sex. The text type chosen is an psychiatric report by the psychoanalyst, allowing me to give insights about Holden’s behavior and thoughts through a psychoanalyst’s objective and professional view, who might understand children better. Taking everything into account, the medical report / interview will outline and comment on the psychoanalyst’s assessment of Holden's psychological difficulties. I will make the style consistent with the professional context by using precise words, and make the report in a way that seems authentic through structuring of contents with the formal psychiatric report sheet.

Use a little swear words to present his dark side of his mind, but also use “regret” to let audiences know that he did changed himself. 

I want to continue the chapter “A House of My Own” to illustrate the ideal resident that Esperanza has long wanted from her perspective. This will further express Esperanza’s longing for changes and independence in addition to her self-expectation to “gone away” and “come back for the ones who cannot out”. To do so, I will be imitating the tone of Esperanza’s first-person narration, which is a combination of childlike cheerfulness (as in “Our Good Day”) and sometimes sentimental mood (as in “Red Clowns”) associated with her gradual maturation and increasing understanding of her neighborhood.

Rationale 

Changing Plane, the novel by Le Guin, begin his story about a woman who missed her flight called Sita Dulip. She started to image different kind of planesthat are fiction and can't find in earth, and totally image 17 islands which represent different value and special cultures. Author has use creative writing skill at every plane to combine author's thinking, knowledge, referring to some real life events instead of just describe different places. Yet, usually author use some ironic and humor elements inside this novel makes plot didn' t quite enjoyable and entertaining. If we find reason, maybe author want to share some idea realistic and non-fiction. Indeed, these 17 planes gave me some inspiration to see the world again, and I also known that the author wants to focus on audience in teenage so that it can be real and didn't lose that much joy. 

 

There are 17 islands in her mind, attempt to create another planet, which infer some knowledge of myself. I will still combine my skills with the author to make my planet more similar to other 17 planets.
