A lot of people that are part of the LGBTQ+ community in America has been hurt, bullied because they are part of the LGBTQ+. Although they are campaigns such as Human Rights Campaign, The LGBT center, the love project, etcetera these campaigns make sure that all people feel safe and know that they aren't alone. They throw parades and other activities to insure that people are safe and happy. Love isn't supposed to be so blend, you can love who you want no matter the gender and you shouldn't have to feel the need to have to like the opposite gender to be accepted in this community that we call safe yet so blend and empty and dark, it is something that should look up to being something that is happy and the world has been lift up your chest.

A. What is the problem?

In America there are a lot of people that are against Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and more. People get hurt for being part of the LGBTQ+. Often in movies a gay kid gets bullied in high school but it isn't the stereotypical joke that it has turned into. It is often that high school or middle school kids that might've gotten bullied for being gay or part of LGBT some has committed suicide, it shouldn't be seen as a joke to the public eye. In the bible it states that homosexuals are forbidden and it takes a big misunderstanding to people who were taught to be Christian, Catholic etcetera. Pope once said that being gay is a fashion, and some church's states clearly that it is a sin to be gay. People who grow up being Catholic or Christian might end up hating on innocent people or giving other people a hard time when it was unnecessary. Some people find it hard to accept that it is alright to not marry someone or be with someone that is the same sex. Coming out of the closet means people that are afraid to come out as who they are. It can be a major problem, hiding who they are, they shouldn't be ashamed of who they are instead be proud. That's why they're organizations that make sure that everything is good and people are happy being who they are.

The problem has effected the community for better and for worse. It has made the government and our community as a whole realize that our world isn't so black and white. A while ago they passed down a law that said gay marriage was allowed, this law may have been the best thing that has ever happened to a lot of people, but it sadly has also effected the community badly. June, 12, summer of 2016 in Florida at a gay nightclub 49 people that were gay were shot and killed and 53 were wounded but survived. Things like this occurring can cause riots or much worse, the florida shooting is one of the more severe and important events in America's history in the past ten years.

The rest of the world should be concerned because there are more hate crimes towards homophobic people than anyone else or any race. It isn't fair that people are dying because they don't like the standard gender. Two opposite genders are considered the normal and traditional gender. Not a little while ago U.S citizens couldn't be married to the same gender. Even now people are more accepting of lesbian or gay people. In Russia they have a gay propaganda law, that law was made for the purpose of Protecting Children from Information Advocating for a Denial of Traditional Family Values. having

March, 17
Today marks the day that I've been transgender for a year, to celebrate I wore outside a beautiful yellow dress and put on some makeup on my face. The day was gorgeous the sky was blue and the clouds were nice and white, it was a perfect day. I brought my favorite bag with me, inside the bag was my purse, a mirror my dad gave me, a scarf, my notepad, and pencil. I woke up wanting to go sit at the park bench and write, write for a whole day but my plan was ruined by a stupid kid that goes to my high school. Him and his friends has always picked on me. We all used to be friends until I told them what I was feeling inside about my gender. Anyways, I was on my way walking across a bridge which is a shortcut to the park. I saw them walking towards me, I put my head down low and refused eye contact because I knew what they would say to me. I felt someone pulled my bag down and I looked up they pushed and shoved me and I fell backwards from the bridge onto the floor I first heard the mirror in my bag shatter, Everything was spinning and I could hardly keep my eyes open. I saw all of them run away except Jamie, he stood in place stared at me from above on the bridge and I saw a tear shed from his face. Kevin quickly ran back and grabbed Jamie, They both ran away and that's the last thing I remember seeing before I heard the sirens and I woke up at the hospital. I remember the doctors and police surrounding around my bed at the hospital room when I woke up, they were all overwhelming mw with questions I didn't want to answer. Although I remember specifically them asking me if I wanted to sue them. I told them that I didn't I just want people to know that w
