Fun fact about me: I once competed in a national Final Four Quarter Bouncing Championship at the ESPN headquarters in Atlanta (yes this is a thing).

Not so fun fact: The stretch of highway (I-45) I grew up by was known as the Texas Killing Fields. In the 70's they found more than 30 bodies. We don't have a lot of crime here but the crime we do have is the crazy stuff

Fun fact about me is that I rarely go to the beach even though its 5 minutes away.

Fact: A few times a year I eat nothing but BBQ all day (breakfast/brunch/lunch/snack/dinner/desert).

My 16th birthday was on Friday Oct 13 2000. It was a full moon that night. Our football team scored the last play of the game -- a 98-yard touchdown pass.

Herndon, PA History

Herndon was first founded by Robert A. Parrish in 1840. The town was later named for Naval commander William Lewis Herndon, who died in 1857 while trying to rescue passengers from his sinking ship. The population was 324 at the 2010 census. Super small town.

Residents met and, according to legend, a survivor of the wreck of the S.S. Central America was present and recounted the heroism of the ship's commander, William Lewis Herndon, who had gone down with the ship. The impressed group decided that the new village would be named for Commander Herndon

Fun Fact for me: My first plane rides was when I was 11 years old, I was a paper boy in Chicago and won a trip to New York City with about 80 other boys

The plantation was built for Carter Burwell, grandson of Robert "King" Carter, and was completed in 1755. Archibald McCrea, a Pittsburgh industrialist, bought the dilapidated mansion in 1928 and restored the mansion, substantially modernized and expanded it.

Carter's Grove Plantation was built on the site of an earlier tract known as Martin's Hundred which had first been settled by the English colonists around 1620. Like all of the land the English claimed along the river, the plantation's 21,500 acres (87 km2) had been part of the domain of the Powhatans, an association of Native American Tidewater tribes formed at the end of the 16th century by the Indian Chief Powhatan. The Powhatans rose to kill as many English as they could surprise in their homes and fields. From near modern Richmond to Newport News, the Powhatans burned and looted dwellings and desecrated corpses. Death counts vary, but about 400 English died. Martin's Hundred, the plantation hardest hit, lost more than 50, perhaps as many as 70.

I dress up ask a Leprechaun every year to celebrate St. Patrick's Day the second largest parade in the USA.

Fun Fact:

The last battle of the Civil War took place in Waynesville, NC. I live a couple hundred yards from where the last shot east of the Mississippi was fired.

I also enjoy long walks on the beach, training martial arts (Han Mu Do and BJJ) with my wife, firing up my smoker on the weekends, and watching Steven and Dan slowly work Don's last nerve until he snaps and puts them on latrine detail for the rest of FY25.

Most of the Lakes in the residential areas of Tabb are actually storm water retention ponds.

The first organized land battle of the American Civil War, the Battle of Big Bethel, was fought on land in nearby Hampton as well as the area that later became Tabb. During the 1862 Peninsula Campaign of the American Civil War, Yorktown was captured by the Union after the Battle of Yorktown. The York County area was then used as a base by the Union Army under General George B. McClellan to launch an unsuccessful attack on Richmond (the capital of the Confederacy at that time).

York is a charming blend of historical New England and stunning coastal beauty.

As a designer with a deep love for vintage, I find endless inspiration in coastal New England estate sales, flea markets, and vintage expos. I also try to find time to take my two huskies for hikes, as well as surfing with the hubs in the summer.

Fun facts about me: I love to hike and camp, I have completed a Spartan race, and I have 7 tattoos

I was born in Giessen, Germany while my father worked as a civilian for a US Army installation in the area. We moved back to the United States when I was 3 but I had the opportunity to live in Germany again as a young adult for several years. The Bavarian area is one of my favorite places in the world.

Fun fact about me is that I'm not actually from VA. I was born and raised in Biloxi, MS :)
