David Packard and Bill Hewlett created their first product, the HP 200A. It was ordered by Walt Disney and was shown in the movie "Fantasia."

Konrad Zuse finishes the Z3 Computer - 1941

Konrad Zuse, a german engineer, finishes the Z3 computer. The computer was used for aerodynamic calculations but was destroyed 2 years later in a bombing raid.

Direct keyboard input to computers - 1956

Researchers started thinking of the idea of keyboards. They thought it would be a convenient idea so they started experimenting with it on a MIT Whirlwind computer.

RCA announces its Spectra series of computers - 1966

The first large commercial for computers that used integrated circuits. The commercial shows the advantage IC had over IBM.

Cray-1 supercomputer introduced - 1976

The Cray-1 was the fastest machine of the day. It took 1 year for each one of these to be built and was sold for 10 million each. It was known for it's C shape which reduced the length of wires.

Apple Computer launches the Macintosh - 1984

This new Apple computer was introduced in a Super Bowl commercial of the year 1984. This computer was the first successful mouse driven computer. The price is ran for was $2,500.

First camera phone introduced - 2000

Japan introduces the first camera phone. It was a flip phone which had 0.11 megapixels and 256- color display.

Apple ships the first Newton - 1993

Apple makes a handheld computer. It featured a handwriting recognition but was sometimes inaccurate. This newton line didn't go as successful as planned so it got discontinued in 1998

Apple Watch - 2015
