It's a Russian myth and I heard it often growing up. 

I honestly don't know what I would consider classic in my life I'm not sure I really have anything along those lines.

Due to being misconstrued in the modern day as a love story, I really wish the original would get it's due respect. It's one of the few myths that really discuss how women were treated in ancient Athens, and the tragedy of it.

One thing that's classic is that I enjoy classical myths, and I really enjoy baking ancient recipes, usually from Ancient Greece.

I have however been playing an ongoing Scion campaign (think DnD but different rule set) for about half a year now. The character I play is a Greek Cult Leader who is the Daughter of Persephone. Over the course of this campaign I have had to do a bit of research into Greco/Roman mythology which is what originally prompt me to take this course.
