Malcolm became addicted to drugs and was always being hunted by the police, especially when Sammy dragged Malcolm and Shorty into burglary.</div>]]></description>

Soon, Malcolm loses some faith in Elijah, believing that he was plotting to kill him. Elijah had also just broken one of Islam’s sacred rules by committing adultery.<br>“And then, as if Mr. Muhammad's voice came from afar, I heard his words: "I'll have to silence you for the next ninety days -- so that the Muslims everywhere can be disassociated from the blunder.’"  (p. 308)<br>“And then I knew.
