We no longer produce sugar and coffee, which means that we have to import it from other countries, and I have lost hope in retaining the other French territories in the United States. As a result of losing Haiti, I am afraid that I cannot put down the other territories if they rebel as well. Due to this, I have decided to sell them to the United States to make a small profit for the country.
