There are 6 different types of magnets, the U-shaped magnet, the horseshoe magnet, the bar magnet, the ring magnet, the button magnet and the rod magnet. <br>A magnet has two poles, the north pole and the South Pole. If you put the North Pole together with the South Pole, they will attract. But, if you put either the two South Poles or the two North Poles together they will repel.<br>There are also temporary magnets, which are the electromagnets. They are made by using iron nails while wires that connect to batteries. The more times you wind the wire Around the nail the stronger it is going to be. There is also another type, which is the stroking method, and you use the rod magnet to stroke the iron nail.<br><br></div>]]></description>
