I don't really know what is going on in this painting, since I am not familiarized with the Opera. But from what I see, I am talking to a respected woman. In the image I'm Dido talking to Aeneas. I went out and had someone take a picture of me in the general position of the picture.Then I made a layer mask. I lassoed my face and put it on the image that I chose. Then I scaled and fixed some details on my face positioning. Once I was done with that I painted over what ever stuck out.
