  • Too many big blocks of text. 
    • Condense and break it down into a structure you can easily skim with bullet points, more headings, and images.
    • Check whether the actual textual content is succint i.e can you say the same thing with less words? Sometimes it feels a bit waffley.
  • Confusing navigation. 
    • Navbar has too many headings so it feels overwhelming. On mobile / tablets this is a bigger issue. The order isn’t necessarily logical either - usually websites have “About us” at the very beginning of the navigation menu and not the end.
    • Links that are either dead or are not logically placed. For example, the carousel on the mainpage - it says “Join us”, but if you click it, it takes you to the news page.

Impressions as organization:
Prestigious, formal, traditional, (to some) maybe even conservative.
  • Typography: serif, “formal”.
  • Textual content: repeats the ideas of “heritage” and “history”.
  • Images on website and social media: elderly / middle-aged caucasians everywhere. Does not seem welcoming to people from other demographics.
