was a rule From Clovers´s mom and the white girl that was on the other side of the fence.They were both part of a racist act because both weren't allowed to play with each other because according to Clovers´s Mom they were ¨Different¨ which is understandable of the moms thinking like that because knowing the time and place racism was a big thing around the time the book took place.Both of the girls response to the Racist act was that it didn't matter what skin color they were,they thought as each other equally and that is why they continued to play and that is when the mom started to
