*Our school organises extra activities in the afternoon and gives the students the chance to take part in sports competition, such as football, volleyball, badminton and archery. In addition, students take part in projects directed towards certifications in foreign languages (PET, FIRST, DELE, DELPH) and in digital skills (ICDL, STEM), and in the organisation of a performance and a musical for the end of the school year.

*Our school includes two sections: Lyceum with different courses and Technical school and it is attended by mixed ability learners from 14 to 19. Some of them study 3 languages: English, Spanish and French and stages are organised abroad to allow them to improve their languages and develop positive and open-minded attitudes towards other cultures. 
*We are also involved in the Program AFS Intercultura: before the pandemics a student of our school went to Finland for a year, while we hosted two students, one from Bosnia- Erzegovina and the other one from Serbia. These experiences were useful, because they gave the students the opportunity to overcome stereotypes and prejudices and to build long-lasting friendships. 
*Last year one some of my students participated in a national eTwinning project "Salute & Benessere" and won the Quality Label.

*In our school there are also some immigrants and students in needs, supported by specialized teachers. Diversity is respected and inclusive and innovative methods are adopted daily to let students experience success through activities that support their learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds regardless of sex, religion, race. 
*We have also experience in “work-based learning”, and our students take part in a training programme by doing an internship in public or private companies and in local or foreign businesses (a group of 15 students lived this experience in Madrid, another group in Berlin). This teaching approach helps them increase their motivation to study, discover their personal attitudes and develop crucial soft skills to prepare them for future job success. 
*The target of our school is to give the students the opportunity to make their future choices with freedom, responsibility, and awareness.

It has become autonomous since 1/10/1965 with an increase in annual enrollments up to stabilizing on 6 complete courses with the number of about 800  current students.

In 1968, with the minutes of the teaching Board on 11/1/68, it was named after the Coriglianese jurist Luigi Palma.

Luigi Palma was born in Corigliano Calabro on 19/07/1837, he graduated in Jurisprudence and worked as a teacher and then as Dean in Technical Institutes. He was a university lecturer in Constitutional Law and then in International Law at the University of Rome. There are numerous educational, historical and legal publications of which he was the author.

 Having a history and tradition which can be traced back to the year 1873, in the long run it has formed more than a thousand school teachers. In recent years, our high school has become one of the best in the county, with exceptional results in terms of both compulsory school education

and extracurricular activities. National Pedagogical College "Mircea Scarlat" Alexandria offers the following branches of study, profiles and specializations: • vocational education, with the pedagogical pathway, where primary and kindergarten teachers are formed; • theoretical education with two main fields of study: the humanistic and the realistic pathway.

 We have philology classes with bilingual study in both Romanian and English languages, two more philology classes and mathematics – ITC classes. Currently, our school has a number of 731 pupils grouped in 28 classes. 

Our high school has a number of 48 teachers, with a wide experience of teaching. 

Apart from the compulsory subject matters that students have to attend, our high school offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities meant to develop social skills, such as volunteering for the benefit of the community, as well as personal skills: communication, team work, responsibility, mutual help, leadership and many more. Some more activities under specific titles:

1. Cultural and artistic activities-

 students are involved in projects meant to develop their awareness for the true values of society. They watch documentaries, shows or plays performed by very important theatre companies in the country. They also perform in the school drama club or take part in competitions and important national holidays, debates and seminars on the European values and structure and painting exhibitions. 

2. Civics activities- on such activities our students learn about how to avoid domestic violence,

alcohol intake or drugs and tobacco consumption. They also get familiarised with their rights and responsibilities.

3. Sports activities- our students take part in both local and national championships held for table tennis, football, volleyball, basketball and chess.

Education continued with the construction of a school with 21 classrooms and a hostel building for 200 students by Hamdi Bozbağ, the valuable personality of Giresun, and his wife Nevin Bozbağ.

Today, Hamdi Bozbağ Anatolian High School has become an excellent educational institution for students with its classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, computer, music, painting, science laboratories, canteen, cafeteria, culture hall, project room and a garden suitable for sports activities. Our school, which has a strong identity, has created its corporate culture and has an exemplary vision with its achievements at the national level. Our graduate students, whose number exceeds 4000, continue their success in their universities and working lives. For the continuation of the success, the studies carried out with the cooperation of the administration, teachers, parents and students continue uninterruptedly. Our students' information is kept up-to-date with practice exams. Our school, which has achieved success in sports activities throughout our province and country since the day it was founded. It has obtained provincial and country degrees in different sports branches. Furthermore, painting exhibitions are organized in our school, concerts are given, and year-end theater events are organized. Our school also participates in national and international projects. Tubitak 4006 project exhibition is held in our school. Our school has received national and European quality labels in the e-twinning projects it has participated in.

Up to now, our institution has participated in 2 Comenius (Beyond Borders and Waterpower Links) and 1 Erasmus+KA229 (Forensics and Creative Theatre) projects and a Music Festival (Anapie Music Festival). We are also successful in the domestic affairs. We have an eTwinning school label and National Quality Labels.

The Progymnasium provides primary and first-level secondary education (years 1-8). Its aim is to ensure opportunities for every student to seek its personal progress and better learning results in a constantly learning and improving school. It also wants students to gain life – long learning competencies while paying attention to the civil, social, and cultural development of their personality in a safe and comfortable place. The gymnasium uses a lot of innovative technologies. The Progymnasium is led by head teacher Janas Ryzgelis.
The school building is round in shape, in the courtyard there is an outdoor classroom and a garden for flowers and herbs, and students look after them.
