At first she checked to see if it was real, looking back and forth between the window and the laptops screen, seeing if it would disappear. The golden eyes were still staring, never blinking. A wave of panic rolled over her and she had a moment of frantic panic, trying to rationalize what she was seeing. She was home alone for another hour and she didn't want to move in case it cause the eyes to attack.The eyes were still there, slowly coming closer but still with no sign of the creature they belonged to. A true feeling of dread covered her, for at that very moment she realized that this could be her last moments of life. As the eyes proceeded to inch closer they came into the dim light of the living room.  A terrible scream was ripped from her throat as she caught a glimpse of the horrible creature that was staring at her behind the flimsy protection of the glass. And as the last note of the scream left her throat the creature launched itself, shattering the glass and flying towards her, scratching at her chest and crawling its way down her throat. As she drew what was meant to be her last breath her eyes flipped open and the soft golden glow shone from within.
