Hi Elaine, the language you used for reporting kinematics and kinetics (internal and external moment) really makes sense to me. I'm just wondering if this is a published consensus/standard. Because I couldn't find any reference for that and there are still lots of articles that do not follow this rule. Thank you.

I find in my service that we are often changing the GMFCS level, which feels incorrect to me. I think most people use the infographic instead of using the tool with the descriptions. But I just wanted to find out if you had the same in your service?

Hi Elaine,

I'm working with a 13 mo with a 3 cm LLD and no neurological dx. I asked the orthopedist to write a script for adaptive shoes to correct his LLD, but he does not support this intervention. The child also has a hx of torticollis and standing with a LLD makes this worse. What are your thoughts on this?

Knee hyperextension or shank reclined?

Could you please tell me more, I'm watching the "Recording of October 27 Live Session, Part 4" now, how can I get an answer: what is to be considered knee hyperextension? I.e. let's say I have a graph of knee kinematics, where 30-40% of the line goes beyond 0. If I change the angle of the shank and it will be 10-12°, it means that this is knee hyperextension? But the video also says that there can be both hyperextension of the knee and a violation in the kinematics of the shank. In this case, how can we determine that there is hyperextension of the knee?
