The first word that comes to my mind when I think of the Trail of Tears is betrayal. The American Indians had to take as much as they can and hoped they didn't die because their homes were taken right from them and they were forced to leave.
2. My thoughts for President Jackson are mixed. He had a nation to take care of while the Americans wanted more land and the Indians wanted to keep their land. He was torn, however, I believe it was still very selfish to take the Indians land and basically send them to their deaths.

A word that comes to mind when I think of the Trail of Tears is shock. I think this because the U.S. government forced all the Native Americans to just leave without a lot of warning. They were all on the trail with everyone they know and people were dying all around them. They were probably wondering what they could have done for their people to deserve this. 
2. I think President Jackson is a terrible person. He forced the Native Americans of the land they had lived on for hundreds of years, and he killed a ton a people that were innocent. He also ignored the Supreme Court when they said he couldn't force the Native Americans to move. 
3. I think that Native Americans should still have the forever land because Americans did many terrible things in the past, and the land sort of helps make up for it. 2. I believe that Andrew Jackson used his powers to abuse the innocent people who haven't harmed it at all, in a very abusive and unjustified manner. His actions were cruel and abhorrent.
