Read about the friends Stanley makes, and the adventures they go through in Holes.

They each keep getting strange texts from Dan, which he has no recollection of sending, and his roommate, Felix, seems alright, but why does he keep finding his stuff out?
    The reason this is a diverse book is because Dan has short term memory loss and has no memory of sending any messages and as explained earlier in the book, Jordan is gay, and proud of it.

    This story is a Realistic Fiction book about a boy named Blade Morrison and he loves music but his everyday life struggles are made worse due to the fact that his dad an ex rock star makes everything worse and he can't control this. Blade then soon finds out that he is adopted and that his mother is doing charity work in Africa so Blade goes looking for her. As he is doing this he has to battle the paparazzi  and the wild emotions along this crazy ride. This book is an amazing emotional roller coaster and is full of shock and happiness but everything works out in the end.

    Diverse Element: Socioeconomic. I say this because there is a boy from a rich family and he thinks his basic world problems are the end of the world but when he goes to Africa to find his mother he realizes that his problems are way worse for these people so when his dad comes to crash his parade they both work together to help out the people of Africa with their money and improve these peoples lives.
