         <description><![CDATA[<p><br> The style of leadership that is most appropriate is the autocratic leadership. This is due to the fact that the manufacturing plant is facing a critical deadline and that there is a need to ensure that the order is completed on time. due to the business dealing with a critical situation, the autocratic style of leadership is most suitable as it is mainly used in times of crisis when immediate action is required such as this. This however may lead to workers dependency on leaders for guidance which displays their lack of initiative and will demotivate workers who are keen to contribute ideas and take responsibilty, which may result in them being unable to meet the deadline. that is another problem faced by the company as they have been facing challenges with meeting the production targets.<br><br><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Democratic leadership is a leadership style that promotes active participation of workers in decision making.</p><ul><li><p>claim 1: the business has a strong emphasis on employee well being and loyalty , so they would promote active participation of employees in the decision making process (this fosters loyalty in employees as they feel heard as they can share their feedback and the leader makes decisions based off their feedback) </p></li><li><p>claim 2: the business needs to adapt to the rapidly changing market and technological developments, showing features of democratic leadership as such a changing market requires fast decision making which is not a feature of democratic leadership as it takes time to gather feedback to make a decision</p></li><li><p>limitation: high dependency on leader as this leadership relies heavily on the leaders vision, a clear vision will allow employees a clear direction and won’t lead to confusion in what they have to do</p></li></ul><p><br/></p><p>With the family owned business using the style of Democratic Leadership, the employees who are already more motivated due to them feeling part of the decision making process, they will be more willing to put more soul and focus into their work. This in turn allows their operations to adapt to the rapidly changing market and technological advancements. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Firstly, the leadership style we chose was situational leadership. Situational leadership is a leadership style that is not based on any single approach as business and employees vary in different ways. Based on the given scenario of non- profit organisation, there is 3 factors we need to address, which is the event's theme, the resources allocation, and the fundraising strategies. Thus, we think that situational leadership is the best.</p><p><br/></p><p>Event's theme - Leader choose the theme - Autocratic</p><p><br/></p><p>Fundraising strategies- Depends on person to person as they will use their own methods - Laissez - faire leadership </p><p><br/></p><p>Allocation of resources - Leader decides on allocation based on other factors - Autocratic</p><p><br/></p><p>Hence for the non profit organisation, situational leadership is the best </p><p><br/></p><p>Limitations : </p><ul><li><p>Leaders and workers may need to adjust to the chosen leadership style which leads to slow decision making </p></li><li><p>Leaders must find the right balance to give directions and support to respond with the appropriate leadership style which means leaders themselves must be clear in their thinking.</p></li></ul><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
