Tech: Is it Helping?

I like how you mentioned that "more expansive tech" is not always the best option and that students need to be taught how to use technology. In such a digital world I think often we overlook teaching students how to use technology because they use it so often. Just because they use it often does not mean that they know how to use it appropriately and effectively. I also think that digital technologies are so powerful and important to be used within the classroom. Not everything has to incorporate the lately piece of technology.

I have learned about the 5 C's in other classes but did not know that there were some downloadable lesson plan resources to use! That is awesome that you included those! I definitely think out of the 5 C's, I need to improve on the "Civic Engagement!" I could definitely be better about engaging my students in public life! Thank you for sharing such insightful information that we can use within our classroom's! -Kylie M
